Pagoda flower is native to India
sub-continent and much of southeastern Asia
including Malaysia.
It is now widely
accepted in tropical gardens for tropical plants throughout the world.
It is an outstanding plants, very prominently seen.
Propagation is
through the numerous suckers and
spread its presence within the garden. But unlike
many other tropical plants that are more ferocious
this plant is not
really invasive and never seen as a
nuisance
to the owner.
Flowers
bright orange, seen in long terminal branched
spikes and develop into small berries like fruits.
Some quarters that
there are medicine uses for all parts of the plant.
Documented are that it can assist to relief inflammation, ulcers, wounds
and skin diseases. |
